ND Opinions Update for Dec 16th
Sunday, 16 December 2007

We're actually moving along quite a bit faster than expected and feel that the overall structure of the site is nearly complete. We will be expandng the sections and categories, a bit, and that will probably continue to happen as more and more content gets added by users, here.

If you are registered and logged in, you will now be able to see our expanded profile pages which will allow you to "make connections" with other users of the site. When updating your profile, be aware that some of the information will be shown on your public profile. Be sure to hover over the Information Icon icons that appear after the fields to get more information. If you are registered and logged in, you will see other links in the control panel (at the top of the site) that will allow you do do even more.

Once you are registered, we will manually change your permissions, so that you'll be able to submit news and opinions. The links to submit content will be located in the control panel, also.

Over the next week, I'll be adding more North Dakota blogs and North Dakota news feeds to the site. If you are not listed, and you would like to be, please send us a note using our contact page, and we'll get you added as soon as possible. I have found that there are many news outlets in ND that do not offer an RSS feed for their web site. Because of that, there may be quite a few that will not be included. We'll be creating a special "links" where we'll include all of the links to news web sites around the state.

What's Your Opinion, ND?
Wednesday, 12 December 2007

Welcome to ND Opinions. This is the place where you can have your voice heard by many people around the state, country, and world. We're setting things up, at the moment, but check back soon. We plan to have things up and running by the start of 2008.

This site will highlight the major issues that concern North Dakota and allow you to write your own Op/Ed stories, as well. We'll be expanding our news coverage and our opinion sections as we go. There is no limit to the amount of topics that we can create.

If you'd like to register to write for ND Opinions, please go ahead. We'll be expanding the profile sections of our members, as well, but you're free to share (or show) as much or as little information as you'd like. There is no actual requirement to "live" in North Dakota, to be able to write for this site, as there are a lot of people that have moved away, and who's opinions are still valued.

All of the articles, stories, and opinions on this site will have the ability for others to come in and comment on. We'll be adding more features very quickly... like E-Mail.
